Rob has represented Great Britain on the trails and shattered the course record for the West Highland Way.
Rob Sinclair has always been a keen sportsman, filling his life with fitness from a young age. In 2014, after some longer hilly runs with his local running club, he knew instantly that he had found his happy place and decided to put all his energy into running. Within months Rob was racking up hours of hill time, discovering speed-work and strength sessions to build endurance, constantly challenging himself and what he was capable of. Rob grew to love, and need, the challenge of exploring places around Scotland and now overseas, embracing the adventures.
Training and racing for Rob have been about testing himself and learning about his limits, whether that's from a good result, or the ones that disappointed him. Always getting a massive buzz out of both training and racing, some of his best performances have been out in the hills, just ‘going daft and bagging munros with mates’.
At the end of 2021 the lively Scotsman raced the Ultra Trail Costa Blanca 75k, and felt it was a rare performance, where everything fell into place and he felt amazing. Also part of the Salomon UK team, Rob’s excited to keep on improving with ultras, whether that be going faster or further. He feels it's a privilege just to be able to do this sport.
