Jamie has raced in distances from 5k to 50 miles, winning races across the board. He has won numerous ultramarathons and has set multiple course records. He also set a marathon PB of 2:28 (London ‘21) along the way.
Jamie grew up in Cornwall where he spent his childhood exploring the coast and countryside. He only became an athlete in his late twenties. After dabbling in triathlon he quickly realised running was both where his talent and passion lay. It didn’t take him long to transition to trails where he appreciated competition being less about times and more about the specific challenge.
Jamie has recently swapped the Cornish coast path for the mountains of central Portugal. With this new playground, he wants to compete in more mountain ultramarathons in the future and let running take him around the world.
