Rob is Lead Critical Care Pharmacist at University College London Hospital. He is a keen and successful ultrarunner in his own right, in distances from 50km to 100 miles. Rob has authored over 40 publications in the fields of insulin therapy, drug errors, pharmacy professional development, antibiotics, selective decontamination of the digestive tract; and several books including the Handbook of Drugs in Intensive Care.
Rob was awarded with a Faculty Fellowship of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2013 and was designated a Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society in 2015. For many years he was a committee member of the UK Clinical Pharmacists Association Critical Care Group. He was seconded to set up the clinical pharmacy service at the Nightingale Hospital, Excel in 2020. He is an Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL School of Pharmacy, Department of Practice and Policy.
