Wendy has over 20 years’ experience working in high performance sport. She has worked as Team GB Performance Nutritionist at five summer Olympic games. At the Tokyo Olympics she was Performance Nutrition Lead for Team GB.
Wendy consulted with the England Football Squad in preparation for the 2002 World Cup and Euro 2004. She has worked with a wide range of organisations including British Gymnastics, GB Hockey, The Great Britain Rowing Team and The British Olympic Association.
She currently works for the English Institute of Sport as Technical Lead Performance Nutritionist and Intensive Rehabilitation Nutritionist. She also works as a Consultant Nutritionist for the GB Rowing Team.
A graduate from Kings College London University, Wendy is a Registered Dietitian with the Health and Care Professions Council. She has a Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from the University of Westminster and also holds the International Olympic Committee Diploma in Sports Nutrition. Wendy is a board member and Practitioner registrant with the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register.
In the New Year 2010 Honours list Wendy was awarded an OBE for services to sport and to nutrition.
